This apartment was very small therefore storage and intelligent use of space was critical.

Using the existing structure - as the client was on a tight budget - doors were resurfaced with white satin polyurethane to compliment the small white space (white was matched to the same colour white on the existing walls), a smoky mirrored splash back opened the area and a table which folded away under the stairs created a flexible dining or study area. 

A contemporary bed with storage underneath it was also made to support storage on the upper level. Matching joinery above the bed and drawers below a sky light also supported storage in this small space.
